Privacy and data use
WarpChat is a business-to-business platform. Every business connects its own WhatsApp Business account, and WarpChat processes that data only to serve that business.

Who provides WarpChat
WarpChat is operated by 3-101-969169 Sociedad Anónima, a company registered in Costa Rica under corporate ID (cédula jurídica) 3-101-969169, trading as Warp CR. WarpChat is currently in early access.

How WarpChat uses Platform Data
WarpChat processes WhatsApp Business Platform Data only to provide messaging, shared-inbox and customer-support functionality to the business that authorized the access.
With that authorization, WarpChat displays and manages the business's own WhatsApp assets and conversations, receives and sends messages in conversations the customer started, and answers questions using information the business itself supplied.
WarpChat does not sell Platform Data, does not use it for advertising, and does not use it to train general-purpose models.
What data WarpChat processes
Conversation content: the messages exchanged between a business and its customers on WhatsApp, including text, voice notes and images sent by the customer.
Contact identifiers: the customer's WhatsApp phone number and profile name, as provided by Meta.
Business knowledge: the catalog, documents and policies the business uploads so WarpChat can answer from them.
Account data: the users of the business who sign in to WarpChat, and their role.
Operational telemetry: aggregate usage and reliability metrics. Personal data is redacted before it reaches telemetry.
How long it is kept
Conversations are retained for a configurable period, set to 90 days by default. When the period elapses, conversation content is deleted.
Business knowledge — catalog, documents and policies — is kept until the business deletes it or closes the account.
A business can request a shorter retention period as part of its agreement.
Separation between businesses
Each business operates on its own configuration, knowledge base and conversations. Data and queries are isolated per account: one business cannot read, search or receive another business's information.
Who else processes the data
Meta Platforms, for the WhatsApp Business Platform itself.
The cloud infrastructure providers that host WarpChat and its databases.
The model provider that generates answers from the business's own content.
Each of these processes data only to deliver the service, under contract, and none of them receive Platform Data for their own purposes.
Security
Access is authenticated per user and scoped to a single business account. Data is encrypted in transit. Personal data is redacted from logs and telemetry.
Deleting data
A business, or an end customer who has written to a business using WarpChat, can request deletion of their data at any time.
How to request deletionRevoking the WhatsApp connection
A business can disconnect WarpChat at any time from its own Meta Business settings, which immediately stops WarpChat from receiving or sending messages on that number. To also delete the data already stored, follow the deletion procedure.
Acceptable use
WarpChat answers conversations that the customer started. It does not send bulk, promotional or unsolicited messages, and it is not intended for purchased contact lists.
The business remains responsible for its own products, prices, terms and privacy notice, and for having a lawful basis to communicate with its customers.
A person on the business's team can pause the assistant and take over any conversation at any time.
WarpChat does not process payments and does not sell on the business's behalf.
Businesses must comply with the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy and the WhatsApp Business Terms of Service.
